The District Manager's primary duty is to sell medical devices and related equipment and services to physicians, hospitals, and outpatient facilities by establishing relationships with these health care providers.  The District Manager will be customarily and regularly away from Cook's place of business in performing job functions and duties.   The Endoscopy division of Cook Medical focuses on the accessories for endoscopic procedures to both diagnose and treat diseases throughout the gastrointestinal tract.   Product line includes wire guides, ERCP catheters, sphincterotomes, stone extraction devices, dilation balloons, cytology devices, plastic biliary stents, biopsy needles, metal biliary, esophageal, duodenal and colonic stents, enteral feeding tubes, hemostasis devices, polypectomy snares, and endoscopic ultrasound needles.   For more information about Cook Medical, visit www.cookmedical.com

The Prototype Assembler position, at Cook Advanced Technologies, assembles early-stage medical devices according to written specifications and manufacturing instructions. 

The Customer Support Representative 1, Field Based Inventory is responsible for communicating with internal and external customers regarding field-based inventory. This could include inventory transaction types such as relocations, returns, consignment, order processing and Use or Return (UOR) processing.

The Administrative Assistant 1 provides high-level administrative support for assigned Leadership as well as back-up support for current administrative staff.

The primary purpose of the Research and Development Engineer at Cook Winston-Salem is to design, test and technically document the feasibility, construction and production process of new and/or changed medical products.

The Engineering CO-OP is a paid temporary assignment in Product Research, Production Engineering and/or Development Engineering that occurs generally during a school semester. All CO-OP positions provide hands on experience with meaningful projects in the medical device manufacturing industry.

Responsible for aiding and assisting in designated production area. Will perform various tasks to ensure efficiency in work flow.

All CO-OP positions provide hands on experience with meaningful projects in the medical device manufacturing industry.

The 2024 Fall Engineering Co-op Program is a paid co-op experience located in Bloomington, Indiana.                          We offer a 16-week rotation with an assignment in Post Market Engineering - Sustaining. This position includes a housing stipend, 401(k), fitness center access, learning events, capstone presentation, and more. All Co-op positions are assigned a direct mentor and each position provides real-world experience with meaningful projects in the medical device manufacturing industry.   

Responsible for aiding and assisting in designated production area. Will perform various tasks to ensure efficiency in work flow.    

The MRI Technologist is responsible for ensuring MRI Safety, training Operators, and assisting in research and development in regards to the Siemens Free.Max .55T MRI installed within Cook Advanced Technology

This position owns the development and execution of strategic sourcing plans for defined spending categories. This includes, defining and leading the sourcing strategy across all phases. Conducting market analysis, selecting suppliers, and managing supplier relationships. Mitigating supply risks, negotiating contracts, and achieving procurement goals. Possessing deep subject matter expertise in the assigned category and understanding market trends.

The Senior Manager, Procurement Category owns the development and execution of comprehensive strategic sourcing plans for defined spending categories. This includes, defining and leading the sourcing strategy across all phases. Conducting market analysis, selecting suppliers, and managing supplier relationships. Mitigating supply risks, negotiating contracts, and achieving procurement goals. Possessing deep subject matter expertise in the assigned category and understanding market trends. This role will also be responsible for providing leadership and development to personnel.

Responsible for the ordering and movement of materials in and out of the department, the operation and cleanliness of the material dryers, and the moisture analysis of materials. Will serve as back up Shipping Coordinator when necessary to ensure efficiency in work flow.    

The Fall 2024 Engineering Co-op Program is a paid co-op experience located in Bloomington, Indiana.                          We offer a 16-week rotation with an assignment in Manufacturing Engineering. This position includes a housing stipend, 401(k), fitness center access, learning events, capstone presentation, and more. All Co-op positions are assigned a direct mentor and each position provides real-world experience with meaningful projects in the medical device manufacturing industry.   

Hybrid based within 2-hours of Bloomington, IN preferred. Qualified candidates based in other geographies will be considered.   Will be responsible for supporting multiple Critical Care product lines.   Support the product management team by assisting with managing various projects, tasks, or responsibilities. Support the development, and communication of the strategy for the assigned product line(s), and execution in alignment with specialty, division and company business goals, vision and strategy.   Under the guidance of product managers, support the total product life cycle (TPLC) of assigned product line(s) from idea inception to obsolescence.
