Incorporating life sciences subject matter expertise (SME), the Quality Control Automation (QCA) System Engineer III at Cook MyoSite, Inc. is responsible for the technical lifecycle and day-to-day up-time of MyoSite enterprise instrumentation management, and/or environmental control, and/or laboratory management systems including the Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) application.
The District Manager's primary duty is to sell medical devices and related equipment and services to physicians, hospitals, and outpatient facilities by establishing relationships with these health care providers. The Senior Solution Architect is responsible for leading the overall technical design of solutions and for oversight of technical decisions within the Product Innovation IT workstream. This role has responsibilities for solutions deployed both domestically as well as across the globe.
Someone who would be successful in this role has experience driving the success of complex technical projects that align with the goals and requirements of their clients and the organization. This involves analyzing the current state, defining the future state, and creating a roadmap for the transition. This role requires that you understand a wide range of technical concepts including server management, relational databases, data structures (e.g., JSON, XML), APIs, programming/scripting, and system integrations. You should have demonstrated experience effectively collaborating with stakeholders including the ability to communicate and document architecture and direction to both business and technical partners. You must be an excellent problem solver and leader who can identify technical problems and develop creative solutions for numerous applications and platforms. Experience involving migrations and integrations between existing and newly implemented applications is necessary to fully deliver client value in our connected environment.
About Cook Product Innovation IT Workstream
The focus of the Product Innovation IT workstream is to enable solutions and business capabilities that increase the drive and efficiency of product design, development, and market registration processes to better serve our Cook Business Partners. The Product Innovation IT team collaborates and supports our Cook Business Partners by leveraging industry standard strategies, implementing state of the art, purpose-built, integrated platform technology, while appropriately supporting legacy solutions.
** This role is a hybrid position. Candidate must reside within 2 hours via car of the Cook Medical location and is required to work onsite as needed per Manager expectations.

The Business System Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business systems that support the organizations operations. This role requires a strong understanding of both business processes and technical systems, with the ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. The Business System Engineer collaborates with stakeholders and process owners to gather requirements, collaborates with other technical resources (IT, Data) to translate them into technical specifications, to ensure a robust and scalable system is implemented that meets the organizations goals.
The position will primarily work with the software tool Oracle Product Data Hub (PDH). In this role, you will be the Business PDH application SME to support Product Master Data Management (MDM) and enable operational data for ERP. You will be working closely with the Enterprise Data team to ensure PDH is designed and configured to ensure Cook always will be at the industry standard or beyond. As Cook will start design of our enterprise ERP solution, Oracle Cloud ERP, you will play a critical role to ensure operation data meets the needs of the organization, by working closely with the program manager and the business leads for ERP.
Our team works closely with process owners, stakeholders, and IT. Our partners are located around the world and will require flexibility to work outside of normal business hours when needed.
