Responsible for the ordering and movement of materials in and out of the department, the operation and cleanliness of the material dryers, and the moisture analysis of materials. Will serve as back up Shipping Coordinator when necessary to ensure efficiency in work flow.    

The Fall 2024 Engineering Co-op Program is a paid co-op experience located in Bloomington, Indiana.                          We offer a 16-week rotation with an assignment in Manufacturing Engineering. This position includes a housing stipend, 401(k), fitness center access, learning events, capstone presentation, and more. All Co-op positions are assigned a direct mentor and each position provides real-world experience with meaningful projects in the medical device manufacturing industry.   

Hybrid based within 2-hours of Bloomington, IN preferred. Qualified candidates based in other geographies will be considered.   Will be responsible for supporting multiple Critical Care product lines.   Support the product management team by assisting with managing various projects, tasks, or responsibilities. Support the development, and communication of the strategy for the assigned product line(s), and execution in alignment with specialty, division and company business goals, vision and strategy.   Under the guidance of product managers, support the total product life cycle (TPLC) of assigned product line(s) from idea inception to obsolescence.

The Maintenance Technician at Cook Vandergrift is responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks and defined building upgrades, performance of building maintenance tasks in one or more fields (e.g. carpentry; electrical; heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, etc.), and perform general cleaning.

The Production Engineer plans, directs, and coordinates manufacturing processes for medical device products, and supports Operations in a way to assure a quality product is produced in a timely manner. The Production Engineer works with Operations, Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs to improve existing product designs and processes to increase throughput, decrease operational costs, or improve quality.

The Fall Engineering Co-Op is a paid co-op experience located in Bloomington, IN.  We offer a 16-week rotation in Research and Development Engineering and have multiple positions open across our R&D teams. This position includes a housing stipend, 401(k), fitness center access, learning events, capstone presentation, and more. The Summer Hire Program at Cook Inc. provides experience in various manufacturing areas.  

You can earn your Indiana High School Equivalency Diploma (GED) while working at Cook part time. Work 28 hours a week and take classes 10 hours a week to prepare for the High School Equivalency Test (GED). The Senior Manager, Procurement Optimization plays a key role in leading sourcing activities across categories for our organization. They will provide strategic leadership and relationship management, lead sourcing and procurement execution, and manage a team through leadership and development. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent managerial skills, a strong analytical mindset, a deep understanding of the procurement process, and the ability to build strong relationships internally within the procurement team and with key Cook stakeholders.
