Hybrid based located within 2 hours of Bloomington, IN preferred. This position is a 12-week paid internship. It is offered for a period extending from mid-May through mid-August (exact dates depend on school calendars.) This position includes 401(k) options, an assigned mentor, capstone presentation, and intern events. If working onsite, you will also have access to a fitness center, an onsite cafeteria option, and a one-time housing stipend. All internships provide hands-on experience with meaningful projects in the Medical Device Manufacturing Industry.  

The Senior Toxicologist has responsibility for helping ensure the safety and compliance of medical device products, materials and manufacturing processes for new and existing devices. The person will review, assess, and author/sign documentation supporting safety and compliance, and communicate approaches and outcomes with a broad range of internal and external audiences including technical, executive, regulatory, and others having various understandings of toxicology.

The Research Engineer, at MED Institute, will be responsible for application of engineering principles to research and develop various medical devices, based on client needs. These responsibilities include completing project deliverables and tasks to support the evaluation of medical devices and creation of novel medical device concepts through collaboration with external clients and, upon request, with other Cook companies.

The Summer Engineering Co-Op is a paid co-op experience located in Bloomington, IN. We offer a 12-week rotation in Research Engineering and have multiple positions open across our R&D teams. This position includes a housing stipend, 401(k), fitness center access, learning events, capstone presentation, and more. All Co-Op positions are assigned a direct mentor and each position provides real-world experience with meaningful projects in the medical device manufacturing industry.  

The Senior Research Engineer, at Med Institute, will be responsible for various aspects of the medical device product development process, including but not limited to product design, prototype development, design controls, and design verification and validation testing.  Previous medical device development experience is highly desirable.

The person in this position will lead and provide over-site for non-clinical studies at MED Institute. The Senior Post Market Surveillance Specialist is responsible for supporting the reporting process, assuring compliance with national and international regulations. Provides high level support and serves as a subject matter expert for Ensure Post Market Surveillance (PMS) plans and reports. Ensure adherence to applicable regulations, standards, and established procedures. Partners with other departments, facilities, and clinical professionals from a technical and functional perspective.
