The Engineering CO-OP at Cook Polymer Technology (Bloomington, IN and Canton, IL) is a paid temporary assignment in Manufacturing Engineering that occurs generally during a school semester. All CO-OP positions provide hands on experience with meaningful projects in the medical device manufacturing industry.

The Engineering Intern at Cook Polymer Technology will be part of the Summer Internship Program support Quality or R&D Engineering. Paid internships at Cook Medical are offered for a period extending from mid-May through mid-August (Exact dates depend on school calendars.) All internships provide hands-on experience with meaningful projects in the Medical Device Manufacturing Industry.

This position is a 12-week paid internship located in Bloomington, Indiana. It is offered for a period extending from mid-May through mid-August (exact dates depend on school calendars.) This position includes 401(k) options, an assigned mentor, capstone presentation, and intern events. If working onsite, you will also have access to a fitness center, an onsite cafeteria option, and a one-time housing stipend. All internships provide hands-on experience with meaningful projects in the Medical Device Manufacturing Industry.

Cook Advanced Technologies (Cook AT) offers an exciting start-up atmosphere with the security of a large company and is passionate about making a difference in improving the health and well-being of patients worldwide.  Cook AT is currently accepting applications for a Research Engineer with an Electrical Engineering background.  The person in this position is responsible for applying engineering principles to address unmet clinical needs: designing, developing and testing new concepts.  This role primarily focuses on electrical, electronic, and electromechanical design within Cook Advanced Technologies, and may also support other Cook companies as needed.

The Product Marketing Intern at Cook Medical will be part of the Summer Internship Program. This position is a 12-week paid internship located in Bloomington, Spencer, or Ellettsville Indiana. It is offered for a period extending from mid-May through mid-August (exact dates depend on school calendars.) This position includes 401(k) options, an assigned mentor, capstone presentation, and intern events. All internships provide hands-on experience with meaningful projects in the Medical Device Manufacturing Industry.

The Clinical Specialist provides clinical support for extensive medical device product lines through direct physician interaction, medical staff education and procedural consultation.   The Peripheral Intervention division of Cook Medical focuses on device technology that addresses broad cardiovascular applications, including treatment of peripheral arterial disease and pulmonary embolism prevention.   Product line includes standard and specialty wire guides, angiographic and therapeutic catheters, introducers, angioplasty balloons, balloon expandable and self-expanding peripheral stents, drug-eluting peripheral stents, and vena cava filters.

The primary purpose of the Maintenance Technician position at Cook Polymer Technology is to perform general and preventative maintenance work on both production equipment as well as the building and facility equipment.

The Melt and Expansion Operators at Cook Polymer - Canton are responsible for the safe operation and basic troubleshooting of the Melt extrusion line (s) including all downstream equipment.  Also responsible completing and documenting product in process inspection to ensure total product quality.

The Extrusion Operator at Cook Polymer Technology - Canton is responsible for the safe operation and basic troubleshooting of the PTFE extrusion line (s) including all downstream equipment.  Also, the person is responsible for completing and documenting product in process inspection to ensure total product quality.
