The person in this position is part of the Medical Sciences department which manages CBI’s Medical Education and Clinical Trial programs. This person will actively engage with Cook Biotech’s distributors, marketing partners, and internal sales team to ensure their training needs and clinical/scientific support requirements are met. This person may also use their expertise in the clinical sciences to create, review, and approve regulatory documents. This person is expected to actively communicate highly technical information through written and oral interactions between CBI departments, advisors, partners, and distributors.



  • Act as the training liaison for marketing partners and distributors, and conduct scientific and clinical training when requested.
  • Serve as a liaison to physicians, consumers, and business partners to address technical questions.
  • Support scientific and clinical activities of marketing partners.
  • Serve as the department representative during the onboarding of new employees.
  • Maintain clinical summary tables and claims matrices for each of CBI’s products.
  • Create, review, and approve regulatory documents through the lens of clinical sciences.
  • Assist Management with other corporate duties when required.
  • Remain current and apply the understanding of FDA, ISO 13485, and Quality System requirements in carrying out duties.


  • Master’s degree in the clinical sciences, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent written, verbal/presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to communicate and work constructively with colleagues to establish and achieve mutual goals.
  • Able to consistently present a professional and personable demeanor in phone, written, and face-to-face communications.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • A strong background in scientific methods and experimental study design is a benefit.


Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations
  • Limited exposure to hazardous chemicals used in the manufacture of the product.
  • Physical demands are typical of an office and classroom environment.
