The Talent Acquisition Specialist is a Human Resources professional responsible for supporting the Employee Life Cycle (Source, Hire, Onboard, Development, Retain and Offboard) at MyoSite.  The Talent Acquisition Specialist manages the recruiting process through consulting with Hiring Managers on talent needs in order to source, attract, select and hire top talent through a variety of channels. 


  • Manages and executes the full-life cycle of recruitment processes for open positions throughout the organization
  • Coordinates and conducts interviews to assess potential candidates with regard to skill set and employment requirements
  • Actively builds candidate pools and ensures a pool of qualified candidates remain available for current or future opportunities
  • Utilizes various media, such as resume databases, staffing agencies, career fairs, social media, higher learning institutions, etc.
  • Ensures timely responses to employment inquiries; organizes and tracks all recruitment information and correspondence.
  • Develops and maintains strong working relationships with department managers to assess needs and desired qualities in candidates
  • Coordinates all recruitment efforts and selection processes such as resume screening, phone screens, interviews, etc.
  • Assists in the development and maintenance of the company’s policy for talent benchmarking, talent assessment and interviewing
  • Conducts industry and prospective candidate research to identify various recruitment sources to place qualified, interested candidates
  • Responsible for administrative tasks typical of staffing roles including assisting with job postings, maintaining candidate profiles, data entry, entering employees into payroll system, and similar tasks as needed.
  • Administer and submit all hiring paperwork for new employees (offer letter, background check, etc.)
  • Assists in the development and maintenance of orientation and on-boarding practices
  • Works with Marketing team to create an employee value proposition that will furnish an “Employer of Choice” culture for prospective talent and retain incumbent employees
  • Maintains employee confidence and protects operations by keeping human resource information confidential
  • Responsible for the maintenance, retention and compliance of paper records and HRIS systems to records (hires, terminations, promotions, transfers, etc.)
  • Ensures the success of employee transactions associated with the employee lifecycle (such as promotions and transfers) through appropriate processes and systems and according to company business policies
  • Creates and maintains data on key talent acquisition metrics
  • Provides guidance and information to candidates on company benefits, salary, and corporate environment
  • In collaboration with the Director of Organizational Development and HR Manager, participates in the creation, regular review and maintenance of a competitive, equitable and affordable wage and compensation system
  • Thoroughly understands and appropriately communicates the philosophy and constructs of the compensation system, including the associated policy, processes and practices
  • Ensures legal compliance with regulatory agencies and governmental laws and statutes related to employment practices
  • Participates as a contributor to company’s Diversity and Inclusion Program and acts as a liaison to Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) when appropriate
  • Participates as needed in department projects



  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software, and other general office equipment
  • Ability to learn and support new systems and applications, and the ability to provide technical training to end users
  • Associates degree in Human Resources, Business Management or similar, or 4 years of direct, relevant experience in recruiting to provide a comparable background
  • DDI Targeted Selection Trainer Certification is preferred
