The Flex Force Manager provides leadership and direction for a flexible workforce that is trained to work across Cook Polymer Technology, Cook Incorporated and AMER Distribution Center. This role works closely with entity leadership to identify business need and priority for the flexible workforce.


• Establish priorities, meet deadlines, work under pressure, and ensure quality standards are met
• Regularly collaborate with entity leadership to determine the most pressing business need/priority based on data and deploy resources accordingly
• Conduct interviews with potential new employees, ensure new hire orientation and training are completed and compliant
• Suggest process improvements, both internal and external, and elevate concerns with system inconsistencies to upper management

• Process and approve department time sheets and coordinate team member schedules to balance the workload among resources
• Must be heavily involved with all personnel matters including employee performance issues, corrective action processes, and employee performance/development plans and actions
• Ensure compliance of, and adherence to, internal procedures and processes across entities
• Provide feedback/direction/guidance to ensure that expectations and goals are clear and understood

• Adhere to the Quality Management System to ensure meeting FDA 21 CFR 820, ISO 13485, and other applicable regulatory requirements, driving quality throughout the organization.


• Bachelor's degree required or experience of such kind and amount as to provide a comparable background
• Minimum 5 years previous related manufacturing and/or warehouse experience required

• Valid driver's license is required
• Minimum 2 years leadership experience required

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
• Knowledge of Quality Systems Management preferred
• Knowledge of/or training in ISO, GMP and CFR standards
• Experience with reporting and data analysis preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Utilizes close visual acuity for working with computers and equipment
• Moderate exposure to noise level in the work environment that is moderate to occasionally loud
• Occasionally lifts and/or moves and/or carries boxes up to 50 pounds
• Good eyesight to recognize product descriptions
• Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to grasp, carry, feel or touch; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch up to 8 hours daily

• Occasionally required to bend, stoop, push, pull, twist in a repetitive motion throughout daily responsibilities
• Maintain a physical presence in the area of responsibility
• Proper attire/clothing and personal protective equipment/clothing as required within Controlled Production Areas
