Overview

The Global Supplier Management Manager at Cook Medical will manage the supplier management operations for Procurement. This position will execute and sustain programs/processes to support the development of global collaborative Procurement to fulfill Cook business goals, secure compliance with diversity and ensure the organization is efficient and effective in reaching the business goals.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee supplier diversity strategy/plan, which includes acting as the liaison to Assent
• Manage and oversee the Oracle Qualification program (SME, ASL, onboarding)
• Execute operations activities, such as:
   - Customer queries on Supplier resilience and levels of suppliers (end to end SC)
   - Supplier Scorecard process
   - Supplier Awards
   - Global supplier change process
   - P-card program
   - Prepare/Define BOI reports via the Business intelligence team
• Participate in developing Cook Medical Management System (CMMS) documentation (policies/internal standards, guidance, procedures)
• Monitor and report on performance on delegated processes/programs
• Collaborate at all levels with Procurement team members and stakeholders
• Collaborate closely with other Global Supply Chain functions: Communications, Training, PMO, CI

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, and or Engineering
• 3-5 years of experience working in a Global supply chain organization
• Familiar with procurement and sourcing processes in a global organization
• Supplier diversity knowledge is a plus
• Must have oral, writing and presentations skills for global communication

• Ability to work in collaborative and independent work situations and environments with distance supervision
• Build and maintain a strong relationship with Global Procurement and Supply Chain team to drive consistent deployment of best practices

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Experience in Oracle is a plus

 

Physical Requirements:

• This position is a hybrid position, which requires regular on-site visits, up to 2-3 times per week
• Must reside within a reasonable distance, within a 2 hour radius via car, of Cook Medical in Bloomington, Indiana

• Works under general office conditions
• The ability to travel 10-20% of the time
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, subject to reasonable accommodation requirements under the ADA
