The Continuous Improvement Analyst at Cook MyoSite is responsible for assisting Cook MyoSite functions in the creation, change, and implementation of efficient and effective business processes and Key Performance Indicators, which will drive continuous improvement efforts based on quality and financial factors.

Responsibilities

• Conducts business process analysis and modeling and presents current process vs. recommended processes along with value added assessment and analysis
• Interacts with process owners and process participants to understand and document processes
• Assist in driving performance improvement through improved end-to-end process measurements
• Provides process management consulting, coaching and training to business teams across Cook MyoSite
• Assists in setting the direction of approaches for building, streamlining, implementing and automating key processes
• Maintains a strong and collaborative relationship with business and IT partners; serves as advocate for new system/process solutions
• Work across functional departments to identify Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for critical processes
• Produce reports, charts and graphs to help identify opportunities and track progress for critical processes across the company
• Assists in setting the direction on approaches and tools to build, streamline, implement, and/or automate key processes
• Participate in gathering, modeling and analyzing data to test hypotheses and size opportunities of process improvement projects
• Compile presentations to summarize findings with recommendations for senior management and the executive team
• Support engagements that drive Quality, Cost, Productivity and Service Delivery projects to completion using formal process improvement methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma
• Ability to lead and implement Lean/Six Sigma tools or methods including but not limited to: 5S, kaizen events, value stream mapping, visual management techniques, standard work, 7/8 Wastes, analysis of  variance (ANOVA), control charts, DMAIC, etc.
• Identify and support the development of new data management and analysis capabilities
• Apply analytical / quantitative approach to problem solving; e.g., organize and analyze data through statistical concepts
• Contribute to the Continuous Improvement Culture and provides training across the company on Lean and Six Sigma concepts
• Provides support with Cook MyoSite’s strategic objectives, metrics and initiatives at corporate and departmental levels
• Identify key strategic metrics aligned with company initiatives to help establish baselines and estimate appropriate targets
• Execute to project plans to support strategic and/or department initiatives
• Manages continues improvement projects and collaborates with assigned subject matter experts
• Promote more effective use of existing data management tools and processes (and eliminate those that are not used or are ineffectual)
• Assist in implementation plan and execution of the best practices across the business concepts the Operational Excellence Office supports
• Communicate metrics and projects objectives, status, barriers, and results to all levels of the organization and external stakeholders if necessary
• Demonstrate a strong desire to learn new concepts, tools and business practices by taking direction from management, consultants and following through on tasks and assignments
• Help to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and adherence to quality standards
• Participate in driving and sustaining risk and control efforts
• Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in a multitude of situations where only limited standardization exists
• Assist in facilitating organizational change readiness

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, Information Technology or related technical field or 6 years’ direct, relevant experience leading process improvement initiatives

• Advanced proficiency in MS Office, specifically, advanced knowledge of Project, Adobe, OneNote, Word and PowerPoint; Expert in Outlook and Visio with advanced utilization of Excel including creating pivot tables, macros, formulas, statistical analysis and charting

• Minimum of 3-6 years' experience in a continuous improvement role preferred
• Experience implementing and standardizing Key Performance Indicators throughout an organization preferred
• Experience facilitating process mapping sessions including value stream mapping and leading process preferred
improvement initiatives and solutions that meet business needs preferred
• Previous Project Management experience preferred

• Formal LEAN and/or Six Sigma training or certification preferred
• Experience mapping process using Business Process Model and Notation preferred
• Experience utilizing and editing Microsoft SharePoint preferred
• Previous Microsoft Power BI working experience preferred

 

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to conduct and hear ordinary conversation and telephone communication.
• Must be able to work extended hours beyond normal work schedule to include, but not limited to, evenings, weekends, extended work hours and/or extra work hours, sometimes on short notice as required.
• Ability to work under specific time constraints.
• Must be able to sit at desk, in meetings and/or work on a computer for long or extended periods of time.
• Visual and manual acuity for working with computers and equipment.
