The Organizational Development (OD) Intern will provide a wide variety of administrative support and services to the OD Directorate. The OD Intern works with Human Resources, Organizational Development and the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion team.


Experience you can expect to gain:

• Business professional experience and office tools such as MS Teams, Outlook, and team meeting
• Knowledge of records retention and HR records requirements
• Communication using various formats (creating presentations, blog articles, verbal project status collection and transfer to meeting minutes and/or excel status reports)
• Research, assessment, planning (identify best options based on existing data and need, create plan forward)


• Assisting with new hire orientation
• Filing and maintaining employee paperwork and electronic records
• Assisting with drafting Business Operating Procedures (BOP) and Business Operating Forms (BOF)
• Reformatting and editing HR documents
• Researching potential training consultants which will later support the DE&I training initiative. Document and share findings, pros and cons of each potential consultant. Potentially contact consultant and inquire about costs and time commitments
• Connect with Management teams to collect monthly Engagement Survey progress updates and document notes and status using established progress tracker
• Contribute ideas toward varied/new ways to communicate project progress to leadership teams in alignment with established communication plans

• Create and/or contribute to communication presentations (PowerPoint, Excel, other) for various active OD projects
• Draft project summaries/overviews to be published in OneMyoSite newsletter / company blog
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance
• Must maintain company quality and safety standards


• At least 1+ years in Business Administration, Organizational Development, or Human Resources is preferred

• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software, and other general office equipment

Physical Requirements:

• Office Setting (no travel): General office, warehouse and laboratory setting

• Ability to conduct and hear ordinary conversation and telephone communication
• Must be able to work extended hours beyond normal work schedule to include, but not limited to, evenings, weekends, extended work hours and/or extra work hours, sometimes on short notice as required
• Ability to work under specific time constraints
• Must be able to sit at desk, in meetings and/or work on a computer for long or extended periods of time
• Visual and manual acuity for working with computers and equipment
