The Human Resources Generalist (Business Partner) adds value to the company by developing new and creative recruiting ideas.  The team member will also provide employee relations and performance management support services.  This role will also drive the development of career paths, headcount reporting and metrics as well as further our Diversity & Inclusion initiatives to ensure employee engagement at the highest level.


• Partner with hiring managers and SBU or functional leadership to achieve the overall staffing goals and employee development goals
• Train hiring managers in interviewing and employee selection skills
• Develop and execute recruiting plans based on needs of the management team
• Use company online recruiting system and other appropriate technology/venues for listing positions and sourcing candidates
• Use effective screening procedures to identify top candidates
• Provide thorough, regular status updates  to those involved in search   and hiring
• Collect and analyze employment data for recommendations to the management team
• Assist in implementation and administration of HR policies and procedures
• Act as a resource for employee questions regarding benefits, et al.
• Process reports and maintain records as needed

• Assist with and manage part of the onboarding process
• Consult with and support managers during entire employee lifecycle, including  employee performance issues, corrective action processes, and employee development plans and actions
• Orchestrate termination processes, including delivering termination checklists and conducting exit interviews


• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, or experience of such kind and amount as to provide a comparable background
• Minimum 2 years experience in HR or related area
• Experience in Customer Service, Project Planning/Management and Employee Orientation

• Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within the HR field


Physical Requirements:

• Works under general office environmental conditions
• Sitting for extended periods, utilizes close visual acuity for working with computers, etc.
• The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop, kneel or crouch

• Some overnight travel may be required
• Must be able to travel by plane
