Overview

The person in this position will work with other members of the Information Technology Department and cross-functional teams to develop, maintain, and validate custom software and APIs for use at Cook Biotech.

Responsibilities

  • Interact with CBI employees to gather information necessary to develop or implement software.
  • Work with business analysts and software testers to design, write, and test programs for business use.
  • Complete IT responsibilities as defined by the Software Validation procedures at Cook Biotech.
  • Will require learning and supporting legacy production system (PICK/MultiValue) as CBI works to migrate to new platform.
  • Maintain systems used for software development and testing.
  • Ability to multitask both project work and day to day support.
  • Work in cross-functional teams to deliver software solutions to meet business needs.
  • Other duties as assigned by the IT Manager and/or Software Developer Team Leader.

Qualifications

  • BS in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of professional software development experience.
  • Understanding of programming methodologies.
  • Knowledge of multiple programming languages such as C#, .NET API, Vue.js, and JavaScript.
  • Web front-end development a plus.
  • Working knowledge of computers and software applications.
  • Ability to follow written procedures.
  • Attention to detail.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment

  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations
  • Limited exposure to hazardous chemicals used in the manufacture of the product.
  • Physical demands are typical of an office and classroom environment.
