Responsibilities

Custodial:

  • Sweep and wet mop floors, occasional stripping and waxing of floors
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms
  • Empty trash bins and pick up trash inside and outside the facility
  • Dust, clean windows and vacuum carpet
  • Use various types of machines and tools e.g. Zamboni, Chariot Floor Scrubber, extractors, compass, vacuums and power washer
  • Must use proper care of company issued closet keys
  • Ability to use a variety of cleaners, including 70/30 alcohol

Cafeteria:

  • Assist on the serving line, cooking area, salad room, cash register, dining room, dish room and break areas
  • Prepare menu items such as hot foods, lunch meats and cheeses, vegetables and other items for salad bar
  • Set-up salad bar and maintain during meals
  • Assist with changeover from breakfast to lunch
  • Stock items in stock room, reach-in coolers, break rooms and dining room drink stations
  • Operate cash register during meals
  • Respond promptly to provide polite and courteous service to customers
  • Clean stock room, kitchen and dining areas as well as sweep and mop floors as directed by supervisor
  • Maintain high standard of cleanliness

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Cook does not intend to provide sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this employment position.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment:

  • Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to grasp, feel or touch; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop; kneel; crouch; or crawl; and communicate
  • Frequently lifts and/or moves more than 50 pounds
  • Moderate exposure to noise level in the work environment that is moderate to occasionally loud
  • Occasionally may be required to climb a ladder when doing heavy cleaning
