Overview

Directs a global marketing operations team responsible for: marketing materials processing and management, continuous improvement of processes, and marketing system support. As part of the marketing function leadership team, this role works to align marketing operations with business strategy, help marketing operate effectively and compliantly, and remove waste to improve efficiency and financial gains.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with company-wide stakeholders to design effective, efficient, and compliant processes for global marketing teams
• Identifies and understands critical inputs to marketing processes, including data, and system requirements to support processes
• Works with Marketing and Communications VP and the CI function to establish a CI culture within global teams
• Oversees teams that execute marketing materials processing, materials management, record retention, process improvement, system support
• Directs development of reporting/analytics from marketing operations systems and processes to measure success
• Oversight of marketing operations related vendors and costs
• Responsible for annual risk assessment of marketing activities and identification of risk mitigation

• Establish a culture of continuous improvement in global marketing including the development of feedback loops
• Ability to develop effective working relationships across the company
• Foster and maintain a workplace culture respectful and supportive of
individual differences
• Must work and interact effectively and professionally with and for others
throughout various levels of the global organization
• Must strictly adhere to safety requirements
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance
• Must maintain company quality and quantity standards
• Must have effective oral and written communication skills
• Excellent problem solving skills and ability to work in collaborative and
independent work situations and environments with minimal supervision
• Ability to remain calm and receptive in fast paced situations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; lean black belt preferred
• 5+ years professional experience in continuous improvement
• 5+ years of marketing and/or sales experience
• Global travel will be required

• Analytical and problem-solving skills with an operations mindset
• Experience working with sales and marketing teams
• Experience managing and coaching people
• Experience in process design and marketing systems

 

Physicial Requirements:

• General office environmental conditions
• Sitting for extended periods of time
• Requires close visual acuity for working with computers
• Minimum of 25% travel required

• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without
