The Custodial Manager at Cook Incorporated directs and oversees all aspects of the custodial operations related to personnel, safety, and quality effectiveness to meet corporate objectives/initiatives while sustaining a clean environment in a timely manner.
• Coordinate and effectively communicate activity between shifts to ensure cohesion between shifts
• Ensure applicable QSP's and instructions are understood and followed
• Oversee training activities to assure QPM compliance
• Ensure Environmental Health and Safety procedures and QPM compliance are understood and applied
• Attend applicable meetings, present and provide data to include updates and reviews
• Identify, analyze and make recommendations regarding personnel, equipment, processes and materials
• Maintain all training requirements for the position, while seeking out opportunities for continuous development and growth
• Monitor competencies for continual improvement to meet Cook Quality and business objectives
• Effectively oversee and evaluate work for self and others
• Report on metric performance
• Foster and maintain a workplace culture respectful and supportive of individual differences
• Drive quality and efficiency improvements
• Provide direction/guidance to ensure that expectations and goals are clear and understood
• Must be heavily involved with all personnel matters including employee performance issues, corrective action processes, and employee development plans and actions
• May work with contract service employees
• Ability to maintain confidential information
• Adhere to the Quality Management System and its processes to meet FDA 21 CFR 820, ISO 13485, and other applicable regulatory requirements
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 2-4 year degree preferred; or experience of such kind and amount as to provide a comparable background
• Experience in a regulated industry, preferably in a medical manufacturing environment
• Computer proficiency, experience with Microsoft products (Word and Excel)
Physical Requirements:
• Utilizes close visual acuity for working with computers and equipment
• Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, and communicate
• Occasionally lifting with minimal exertion during shift
• Exposure to moderate noise and light levels within manufacturing facility
• Proper attire/clothing and personal protective equipment/clothing as required within Controlled Production Areas
