Overview

You will:  Work while you pursue your High School Equivalency degree.
• Work approximately 28 hours per week at Cook Biotech Inc..
• Work in an assigned position that does not require a high school diploma.
• Attend approximately seven weeks of prep classes given by an Adult Education Center.

Responsibilities

 Help implement improvement ideas.

 Conduct other corporate duties when required.
 Produce products/components according to instructions, specifications and work orders.
 Package products/components according to instructions, specifications and work orders.
 Label products/components according to instructions, specifications and work orders.
 Provide quality products/components to customer in a timely manner.
 Clean and maintain equipment and production areas.
 Report non-conformances and other potential problems to
team leader in a timely manner.

Qualifications

Minimum Work Experience/Educational Requirements
COOK Biotech, Inc. shall have sufficient personnel with the necessary education, background, training, and experience to assure all functions and duties are correctly performed.
 Must be actively pursuing High school diploma or equivalent.
 Able to work with multiple persons in a team environment.
 Able to read and understand written instructions and specifications.
 Able to accurately measure, add and subtract.
 Able to do routine computer data entry tasks.
 Willing to work with material derived from animal tissues.

 

Physical Requirements/Work Environment
 Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations
 Limited exposure to hazardous chemicals used in the manufacture of the product.
 Physical demands are typical of an office and classroom environment. 
 Able to lift 10-60 lbs. depending upon production area assigned.
