The IT Location Manager serves as the primary point of contact for the Cook Family Health Center and other Cook Group Company Locations. This position serves as coordinator and focal point concerning IT activities, objectives and initiatives. This position also identifies and relays location needs to Cook Group IT Leadership.


• Meet with IT Leadership on regular basis to confirm group directives
• Build strong collaboration and communication streams with location management, Cook Group IT team and other Cook facilities
• Develop and enable road maps accordingly to meet the location needs and fit the Cook Group global direction by utilizing enterprise solutions and platforms when possible
• Manage and maintain software and hardware solutions
• Make recommendations for staff and equipment and have significant input into personnel matters              
• Collaborate with the Cook Group and IT teams to create and maintain information technology project plans which communicate tasks, milestones dates, status and resource projects
• Manage prioritization and trade-offs among conflicting business priorities
• Ensure Health Clinic understands dual role of location and Cook Group responsibilities 

• Monitor and report project progress by tracking activity, identifying problems and recommending actions
• Be an advocate for the location business partners with the Global IT team and advocate for the Global IT team with the location business partners
• Must strictly adhere to safety requirements
• Excellent problem solving skills and ability to work in collaborative and independent work situations and environments with minimal supervision

• Enable new capabilities by developing road maps to meet the local needs and fit the global direction
• Actively utilize effective, efficient and compliant business processes to support and ensure compliance to the location quality and business management systems
• Ensure existing IT solutions are supported and sustained by following the Global IT Priority Framework, meeting service level objectives (CAPAs, audit findings, service/incident tickets, change requests), and meeting systems uptime, security, upgrade and recovery expectations



• B.S. Degree in Computer Science, Informatics, or related technical discipline; or experience of such kind and amount as to provide a comparable background
• Minimum 3 years of IT experience in healthcare environment preferred
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills

• Project Management experience is required
• Knowledge of software development life-cycle process
• Ability to solve problems and mediate discussions within cross-functional teams.

• Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States.  Cook does not intend to provide sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this employment position


Physical Requirements:

• Works under general office environmental conditions.
• Ability to travel overnight approximately 10-15%
• Sitting for extended periods, utilizes close visual acuity for working with
  computers, etc.
• Requires occasional early morning or evening teleconferences
