  • Overview

    Executive, Account - Regional IDN will develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare executives at assigned regional accounts (for example: Independent Delivery Networks (IDN’s), Private Groups, etc) in order to understand business needs and processes, maximize effectiveness, drive account growth, and Cook market share.

    Responsibilities

    Responsible for the overall financial/business performance of assigned accounts, while incorporating a “One-Cook” approach, representing the entire portfolio of Cook Medical products, with autonomy to make decisions in alignment with the mission, vision and purpose, and overall company priorities for both the Vascular and Med-Surg divisions of Cook Medical

    As the primary point of contact into the account,develop, implement, and continuously evaluate an approved strategy and business plan for regional accounts, focusing on the “One-Cook” approach

    Lead execution of the strategy for assigned accounts to further develop customer partnerships, provide better patient outcomes and ultimately, generate new business opportunities

    Establish and maintain senior-level relationships within assigned accounts, including the VP of Supply Chain, and C-suite where appropriate

    Determine and provide strategic account direction for contract terms and alignment of company resources to address customer needs

    Maintain strong knowledge of the regional business, supply chain initiatives, customers, products and competition

    Develop a detailed understanding of the assigned accounts current business, ultimately owning responsibility for the overall financial performance of assigned accounts

    Consistently collaborate with Divisions’ sales/business teams to obtain feedback, and establish, measure, and meet business plan goals

    Meet deadlines and complete administrative tasks such as expenses, training, reporting, policy acknowledgements, etc. in a timely manner

    Within scope of responsibility, ensure all quality, regulatory, compliance and product specific requirements are met

    Understand and be accountable for conducting Cook business with integrity and in compliance with applicable standards including Cook policies

    Qualifications

    College degree in related field and/or equivalent relevant experience

    Extensive experience working with multiple accounts, Cook products, and contracting processes

    Prior experience in medical sales, sales management, marketing, and/or corporate/national accounts

    Demonstrate strong account relationship and contracting skills

    Demonstrate knowledge of materials management, Cook products and contracting processes

    Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills

    Demonstrate strong strategic business skills

    Demonstrate strong negotiation skills

    Model the company standards that others are expected to follow

     

    Physical Requirements

    Ability to travel domestic and weekends as needed up to 75%

    Work under general office environmental conditions
