  • Overview

    Cook MyoSite Incorporated, a division of Cook Incorporated, is a growing, forward-thinking biotechnology organization seeking a full time Field Product Specialist.  The Field Product Specialist will support products and clinical procedures through direct physician and site interaction, education, and procedural observation. They are also responsible for building relationships, providing feedback and solutions for program development, identifying opportunities to improve compliance with protocols/procedures, and sharing best practices. Assisting with marketing efforts and creation of materials, while also collaborating with Product Logistics, Marketing, Product Management, & CRO, will be additional aspects of this role.


    • Create summaries of clinical findings during procedure observations
    • Identify, support, and develop relationships with key  clinical and non-clinical decision-makers
    • Be the expert on the product, procedures, and MyoSite processes
    • Analyze patient recruitment needs and create a marketing plan per site.
    • Provide feedback to Product Development, Product Management, Product Logistics, and other internal groups
    • Support new product launches; including assisting with creation of training materials/programs, presentations, and ongoing field support
    • Support clinical evaluations and trials
    • Perform field market analyses and help identify future opportunities
    • Maintain frequent communication with Global Business Manager, Team Lead, Product Management, Product Logistics, CRO, and Marketing

    • Understand the regulations and rules associated with cGCP and cGMP
    • Maintain accurate and timely reports and records


    • Bachelor’s degree in natural science required, or 5 years of professional experience to provide a comparable background
    • 3 years of experience in a clinical research preferred
    • Must have 2 years of experience providing procedural support in hospitals or clinic settings
    • Microsoft Office proficiency and excellent organizational skills required

    • Must work and interact effectively and professionally with others
    • Must have effective oral and written communication skills
    • Excellent problem solving skills and ability to work in collaborative and  independent work situations and environments with minimal supervision



    Physical Requirements:

    • International and domestic travel as required, up to 75%
    • Subject to reasonable accommodation requirements under the ADA, must be (a) physically capable of operating a motor vehicle on a regular basis, (b) a holder of a valid driver's license, and (c) in good standing to legally operate a motor vehicle
    • The employee is occasionally required to lift up to 50 pounds or more

    • Sitting for extended periods, utilizes close visual acuity for working with computers, equipment, etc.         
    • The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop, kneel or crouch
    • The employee is occasionally required to stand for extended periods
