  • Overview

    The Visual Content Specialist for the Vascular Division of Cook Medical located in Blooomington, IN collaborates with the Content Marketing team to develop, communicate and support the Global Visual Marketing vision and strategy, in alignment with Division mission, vision and purpose, Division Experience Marketing and program and overall company priorities.



    • Work closely with stakeholders within the Division and company Function and Operational Units to support Visual Marketing strategies and ensure consistency with Experience Marketing priorities, processes and structure
    • Assist in creating the Vascular Division’s visual identity, by collaborating with the Content Marketing team to create distinctive, compelling, brand-building creative visual experiences that will be expressed across a defined segment of media that align with the division's mission, vision and purpose
    • Assist as an advocate for the Vascular visual brand, protecting and enhancing its distinct and differentiated position
    • Support alignment with Cook Brand Standards and Visual Brand identities, throughout the creative development process and across communication channels and media
    • Communicate activities, plans and expectations in a timely manner, working to align key stakeholders and impact audiences
    • Manage time and large work volume to ensure high productivity and objective, maintenance-focused design solutions
    • Assist in continuously evaluating and improving the strategy for Global Visual Marketing by listening to feedback from customers and employees. Take action and resolve issues and gaps quickly and effectively
    • Coordinate a range of visual media including photography, illustration, and written content to communicate effective initiatives
    • Within scope of responsibility, ensure all quality, regulatory, and product specific requirements are met
    • Understand and be accountable for conducting Cook business with integrity and in compliance with applicable standards including Cook policy



    Required Experience/Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in art, fine arts, graphic design or related field and/or equivalent relevant experience
    • Extensive experience in Marketing graphic design and/or visual communications in the Medical Device industry
    • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Photoshop, Acrobat, Illustrator and InDesign programs
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Professional software
    • Model the company standards that others are expected to follow
    • Display positive and constructive behaviors that drive team cooperation in achieving objectives
    • Must be able to actively listen and demonstrate effective verbal and written communication and presentation skills
    • Excels in a highly collaborative team setting
    • Must interact effectively and professionally with and for others throughout the various levels of the global organization
    • Ability to remain calm and be flexible and receptive in fast paced situations
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in collaborative and independent work situations and environments with minimal supervision

    Physical Requirements

    • Aility to travel domestic, international, and weekends as needed up to 10%
    • Work under general office environmental conditions
