  • Overview

    The Web Marketing Manager at Cook Medical is responsible for aligning Cook’s web marketing strategy with the business strategy and digital marketing strategy. Solicits feedback from and advises marketing teams on direction of website strategy. Works with IT to manage Cook Medical website development from concept to completion and through iterations.


    • Work to understand how the web fits into the overall marketing strategy for Cook Medical divisions
    • Collaborate closely with division marketing teams, digital content and SEO specialist, and digital marketing analyst to develop content and share best practices in website content development
    • Work with IT to plan and administrate website design and development, including continual updates that are based on user feedback
    • Serve as a bridge between marketing and IT
    • Link website front end developers and graphic designers to ensure consistency of visual and digital brand
    • Work as a part of a corporate digital team on pre-planning and content strategy that helps accelerate website projects
    • Troubleshoot content upload and display issues for internal and external websites
    • Ensure website content is created in alignment with Cook’s brand, culture, values and policies

    • Work closely with others in the corporate branding team to ensure brand alignment across all channels/mediums, to connect projects, and re-purpose content


    • Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related area and a minimum of five years of experience in a related field
    • Strong experience with and understanding of website planning, design, development and administration, and user experience/testing
    • Thorough understanding of strategic marketing and how websites, email marketing, and social medial work together

    • Strong knowledge of HTML, WordPress, CSS, Google Analytics, Sharepoint
    • Proficient with PowerPoint/Keynote, Photoshop, Excel/Numbers
    • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
    • Ability to solve problems and mediate discussions within cross-functional teams
    • Ability to work independently and maintain awareness of current trends and skills relevant to the role
