  • Overview

    The Purchasing Coordinator will coordinate and manage all activities during the purchasing process for all US based Cook Regentec sites.




    • Create Purchase Orders and submit to suppliers.
    • Ensure all lab supply, office supply and kitchen supply orders and submitted in a timely basis
    • Maintain kitchen and office supply stock
    • Assist in front desk duties as needed
    • Assist Inventory Management to ensure all stock is maintained
    • Work with suppliers to ensure product availability and necessary documentation is obtained in accordance with Material Specification Sheets (MSS)
    • Monitor and track purchase requisitions and handle adjustments with suppliers
    • Liaison with accounting department to reconcile invoices and purchase orders 

    • Use of Microsoft Office Suite
    • Excellent organizational and communication skills
    • Able to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team and committed to high quality work
    • Able to generate sensitive documents such as purchase orders.
    • Perform additional duties as needed and/or requested by management
    • Assist Quality Department with supplier qualifications and re-qualifications
    • Work with Finance to open supplier accounts
    • Research pricing information and compare prices and quotations
    • Assist Inventory Management with returns as needed


    • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
    • Previous purchasing experience preferred, but not required
