  • Overview

    The Account Manager at Cook Medical will be the liaison between customers and cross-functional internal teams, ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and improve the entire customer experience.

    Responsibilities

    • Central point of contact for strategic interactions with the customer
    • Provide analysis of possible operational efficiencies (i.e. order rejections, order frequency and patterns, freight analysis, GS1 standards, etc.)
    • Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to customers for non-clinical inquiries
    • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
    • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with target accounts, corporate stakeholders, and Divisions
    • Provide canned and customized reporting for customer and internal functions
    • Assist with high severity requests or issue escalations as needed
    • Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer experiences by learning their accounts needs and how best to fulfill those
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities

    • Work closely with project team to pilot and implement solutions to target customers
    • Must attend meetings with the customer to foster the account relationship and bring feedback to the department
    • Must have ability to work independently and have initiative
    • Provide backup and support within the department as needed.
    • Support long term relationships with assigned customers
    • Must be able to represent Cook in a professional manner

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor Degree required
    • 3 years proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager or other relevant experience
    • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level

    • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Cook does not intend to provide sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this employment position

      

    Physical Requirements:

    • Must be able and willing to travel domestically and handle after hours calls
    • Works under general office environmental conditions
    • Sitting for extended periods, utilizes close visual acuity for working with computers, etc.
