  • Overview

    The Production/Supplier Engineer plans, directs, and coordinates manufacturing processes for medical device products.


    • Evaluation, documentation and approval of supplier related changes
    • Evaluation, documentation and resolution of specifications discrepancies
    for materials provided by external suppliers
    • Intercompany material specifications alignment and consolidation
    • Resolution of Incoming Quality Control Issues
    • Project Management
    • Verification and Validation Testing
    • Work with vendors for discontinued or changed materials

    • Must work and interact effectively and professionally with and for others
    throughout various levels of the global organization
    • Must strictly adhere to safety requirements
    • Maintain regular and punctual attendance, and accurate timely reports
    • Must maintain company quality and quantity standards
    • Must have effective oral and written communication skills
    • Excellent problem solving skills and ability to work in collaborative and
    independent work situations and environments with minimal supervision
    • Ability to remain calm and receptive in fast paced situations



    • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Production, or
    Manufacturing Engineering, or related field; or experience of such kind
    and amount as to provide a comparable background

    Physical Requirements:

    • Works under general office environmental conditions.
    • Sitting for extended periods, utilizes close visual acuity for working with
    computers, equipment, etc.
