  • Overview

    The Customer Support Clerk at Cook Medical is responsible for answering phone calls from external customers.  They are also responsible for processing orders out of order review queues in between phone calls.

    Responsibilities

    • Answers phone calls from external customers
    • Process orders in order entry screens while on the phone with customers
    • Answers product related questions from external customers
    • Navigates multiple different sites to provide customers with information about their orders
    • Sets up new customer accounts
    • Processes orders out of EDI and Fax review queues between phone calls
    • Works with appropriate Expeditor to make changes to orders
    • Works with Customer Relations on complaints due to service errors

    • Maintain regular and punctual attendance

    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or equivalent required
    • Clear and concise in both verbal and written communications
    • Basic knowledge of Microsoft and Outlook programs
    • Cook product knowledge preferred

    • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Cook does not intend to provide sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this employment position

     

    Physical Requirements:

    • Sitting for extended periods, utilizes close visual acuity for working with computers, etc.

    • Requires some overtime due to product trainings
    • Ability to work 40 hour (5 day) work weeks
