  • Overview

    The Information Technology Project Manager accomplishes information technology project objectives by planning and evaluating project activities, and ensures project progresses according to the schedule and plan.


    • Defines project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases, and elements; forms project team
    • Creates and maintains information technology project plans which communicate tasks, milestone dates, status, and resource allocation
    • Monitors project progress by tracking activity, identifying problems, and recommending actions
    • Prepares and publishes progress reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
    • Evaluates initial and additional task requests
    • Interfaces and communicates with staff on all levels of the company globally
    • Acts as a liaison with outside vendors as needed
    • Utilizes software life-cycle methodology
    • Coordinates delivery of development and production releases which meet quality assurance standards

    • Must work and interact effectively and professionally with and for others throughout various levels of the global organization
    • Must strictly adhere to safety requirements
    • Maintain regular and punctual attendance
    • Must maintain company quality and quantity standards
    • Must have effective oral and written communication skills
    • Excellent problem solving skills and ability to work in collaborative and independent work situations and environments with minimal supervision
    • Ability to remain calm and receptive in fast paced situations


    • B.A. or B.S. degree; or experience of such kind and amount as to provide a comparable background
    • Project Management experience is required
    • Knowledge of software development life-cycle process
    • Proven ability to maintain multiple projects in forward movement with frequent adjustments as necessary


    Physical Requirements:

    • Works under general office environmental conditions.
    • Sitting for extended periods, utilizes close visual acuity for working with computers, etc.
