Overview

The Digital Marketing Analyst for Cook Inc. is responsible for providing analysis, insights, reporting and data management in support of Cook’s global marketing function’s initiatives. The position requires proven experience with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics and additional experience with data and analytics tools used in social, email and cross-channel business to business marketing.

Responsibilities

• Analyze web usage data to identify trends in consumer behavior
• Provide insights into the consumer journey and recommendations for optimization and improvement
• Provide competitive research and analysis to track and trend Cook’s competitive landscape and positioning in the marketplace
• Identify and develop new metrics and report creation to provide new insights from the systems and channels. Pursue enhanced data capture and seek new sources of data
• Establish partnerships with key stakeholders through communication
• Participate in strategic discussions, goal setting, and present key findings on a consistent basis, helping stakeholders understand performance relative to goals
• Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that ensure the ongoing accuracy, integrity, and compliance of data in marketing systems including validation, testing, and documentation

• Must be experienced in translating business needs into research strategies and translating the findings into actionable recommendations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with emphasis in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Digital Marketing, Business Administration, or other quantitative discipline/or equivalent training or experience
• 3+ years of experience working as a digital analyst including data analysis, interpretation, research design and implementation and report writing

• Experience with Google Analytics, Sprout Social or other similar tools
• Familiarity with website and email test and targeting data, analytics, and tools like SalesForce Marketing Cloud
• Experience with HTML and JavaScript, especially experience troubleshooting web analytics code is preferred
