Overview

The Project Analytics Manager at Cook Inc. manages the development and maintenance of the Project Management Office (PMO) policies and procedures in compliance with business needs and best practices relative to the PMO business processes.  This position also provides program delivery and analytics leadership and mentoring to the PMO to improve the overall quality of processes within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional and strategic leadership for the PMO organization
• Lead long-term planning efforts to improve PMO delivery models, monitoring tools, support metrics and overall product(s) quality
• Responsible for ensuring continuous improvement and optimization of Cook Inc. (CINC) PMO business and technical processes
• Support the PMO & IT strategies and oversee the CINC portfolio of projects and initiatives to ensure they align with the strategy
• Develop and maintain world class project management practices and methodologies
• PMO portfolio monitoring, analytics, and performance reporting
• Coordinates both internal and external resources to maximize project and program success
• Lead the continuous improvement and process optimization processes of the PMO and work with PMO Leadership and the delivery teams to regularly identify and drive opportunities for improvement

•  Train and mentor the project management professionals to assure the consistent project analytics and reporting.
•  Ensure project requirements are achieved in a high quality and timely fashion within budget guidelines, life-cycle consistency, and Cook standards
•  Actively influence an integrated approach to project management and business analysis with all functional areas such as Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Engineering, IT, and Operations teams
•  Develop strategies for effective data analysis and reporting
•  Select, configure and implement analytics solutions
•  Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints

Qualifications

• 4-year degree; or experience of such kind and amount as to provide a comparable background
• Knowledge of databases and automation of business processes
• Experience in Project Planning/Product Portfolio Management
• Experience building/leading project teams that are geographically distributed

• Experience defining a program/project strategy and taking it from concept to delivery
• Prefer minimum of 5 years experience PMO implementation including development of project life-cycle methodologies, tracking/reporting, and PMO automation systems 
• Prefer minimum of 10 years Program Management & Project leadership

 

Physical Requirements:

• Requires occasional early morning or late evening teleconferences
• International and domestic travel as required
