Overview

The Price Project Manager researches, collects, extracts, organizes and analyzes all relevant data to be placed into a usable format to assist and support the pricing, contracts and sales teams when making strategic decisions as related to pricing & sales strategies. Develop and implement pricing policies, procedures, and/or initiatives based on results of the analyses.

Responsibilities

• Work with pricing and sales teams to analyze data when making global strategic decisions
• Acquire and integrate data from primary and secondary data sources
• Research and analyze current and available data for project confidence and relevancy
• Develop and implement data collection systems or strategies to optimize statistical efficiency and data quality
• Maintain and constantly update data sources, databases, and analytical tools to guarantee timely, current, relevancy for strategic sales and pricing projects
• Use data visualization tools to format and present data for effective communication to relevant parties
• Establish process for collecting, monitoring and updating data based on results of projects implemented
• Must have excellent analytical and problem solving skills

• Develop analytical projects designed to understand key customer behaviors.
• Create, publish, collect and maintain quarterly targeting lists/databases for pricing/sales strategies
• Identify opportunities to develop forecasts, statistical models, segmentation schemes, and data-driven analyses to support marketing and sales efforts around customer acquisition and conversion
• Must work and interact effectively and professionally with and for others throughout various levels of the global organization
• Must strictly adhere to safety requirements
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance
• Must have effective oral, written and presentation communication skills
• Ability to work in collaborative and independent work situations and environments with minimal supervision
• Ability to remain calm and receptive in fast paced situations

 

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting or Finance; or experience of such kind and amount as to provide a comparable background.
• 2+ years experience in data analysis and project management preferred.
• Business Objects experience preferred.

• Experience in Data Analytics and Data Visualization software and technology.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products, including PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, etc.
