Cook MyoSite Incorporated, a division of Cook Incorporated, is a growing, forward-thinking biotechnology organization seeking a full-time Material Control Team Lead.  The Material Control Team Lead is responsible to manage and coordinate the processes, systems, and procedures associated with inventory control functions for manufacturing consumables, including preparation of in-process reagents and receiving and disposition of raw materials.

• Plan and implement requisition activities in a timely and cost-effective manner
• Control and maintain Sage ERP software and inventory control procedures
• Ensure that storage and handling of received items are compliant with all regulatory standards and requirements
• Ensure that specifications for received materials, equipment or services are met prior to use in production
• Complete proper paperwork related to material control activities
• Ensure that the dock, quarantine, and warehouse areas are maintained to the highest level of cleanliness and organization

• Collaborate with purchasing to continuously improve the supply chain and ensure quality and efficiency in support of production schedules, customer requirements and all other Cook MyoSite operations
• Oversee completion of Material Control duties, including coordinating Associates’ schedules and ensuring all required tasks are complete each day
• Identify and Implement continuous improvement opportunities that impact material control and receiving processes
• Plan and coordinate internal material fill assemblies with production
• Participate in regular Material Review Board (MRB) meetings and assist Supply Chain Manager with administration work associated with the MRB
• Ensure material inventory and transactional accuracy
• Coordinate with Purchasing on material planning changes or adjustments 


• Bachelor's degree in any life science, engineering or business field or at least 5 years of experience overseeing a regulated warehouse setting.
• Previous purchasing and material receiving and inventory experience in a manufacturing environment
• Must be able to oversee personnel activities and schedules
• Decision making capabilities

• Planning and prioritizing
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft software as well as ERP inventory systems


Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to sit at desk, in meeting and/or work on a computer
• Physically capable of standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, reaching, twisting and bending
• Majority of some days spent on feet in warehouse setting
• Frequently climbing a mobile ladder and/or other types of ladders
• Must perform PPE gowning procedures on a daily basis to enter BioSafety Level II including safety glasses, lab coat, gloves, specialized clothing including laboratory scrubs

• Potential limited exposure to hazardous chemical and/or harsh disinfectants while in BioSafety Level II
• Must be able to work extended hours beyond normal work schedule to include, but not limited to, evenings, weekends, extended work hours and/or extra work hours, sometimes on short notice as required
• Ability to work under specific time constraints
• Laboratory, warehouse and office setting
