The Laboratory Research Products Coordinator at Cook Myosite is responsible providing assistance in processes related to Laboratory Research Products manufacturing, documentation and materials associated with current LRP cell samples and associated reagents.


• Assist product specialist in scheduling, manufacturing and completing necessary documentation relating to LRP cell samples

• Assist product specialist in scheduling, testing and completing necessary documentation relating to LRP quality control processes

• Provide regular raw material and finished goods inventory to Customer Support when appropriate.

• Assist in creation and maintenance of documents relating to manufacturing and testing LRP products as well as inventory management

• Assist product specialist in the discovery, development and optimization of new RUO products

• Assist in scheduling, performing and documenting quality control information relating to RUO products

• Effectively track and communicate with department management regarding project progress and milestones via regular meetings, scientific presentations and/or written reports

• Maintain work area including maintenance and operation of equipment, and preparation and sanitization of work areas where appropriate


• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or Engineering or related experience

• Ability to exercise sound judgment in conducting and interpreting scientific research

• Ability and desire to acquire knowledge in related area(s) of research

• Demonstrates potential for technical proficiency, independent thought, problem-solving, and scientific creativity

• Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with other departments/groups


Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to sit at a desk, in meetings and/or work on a computer

• Physically capable of standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, reaching, twisting and bending

• Majority of some days spent on feet in warehouse setting or biological safety hood sitting

• Must perform PPE gowning procedures on a daily basis to enter Biosafety level II including safety glasses, lab coat, gloves, specialized clothing including laboratory scrubs (pants and shirt) and appropriate shoes required in most areas associated with this position

• Must be able to lift/push/pull 50 pounds

• Potential limited exposure to hazardous chemicals and/or harsh disinfectants while in Biosafety Level II

• Must be able to work extended hours beyond normal work schedule to include, but not limited to, evenings, weekends, extended work ours and/or extra work hours, sometimes on short notice as required

• Ability to work under specific time constraints

• Laboratory, warehouse and office setting

• Frequent climbing a mobile ladder and/or other types of ladders
