Overview

The IT Location Manager serves as the primary point of contact for the Cook Family Health Center and serves as coordinator or focal point of information concerning Cook Group and local activities, objectives and programs.  This position also identifies and relays local needs to IT Leadership.

Responsibilities

• Meet with IT Leadership on regular basis to confirm Group directives
• Build strong collaboration and communication streams with Health Clinic  management, Cook Group IT team and other Cook facilities
• Develop road maps accordingly to meet the local needs and fit the Cook Group direction
• Manage and maintain software programs
• Make recommendations for staff and equipment and have significant
   input into personnel matters              
• Collaborate with the Cook Group and IT teams to create and maintain information technology project plans which communicate tasks, milestones dates, status, and resource projects
• Manage prioritization and trade-offs among conflicting business priorities
• Ensure Health Clinic understands dual role of local and Cook Group responsibilities 

• Manage and maintain software programs
• Monitor and repeat project progress by tracking activity, identifying problems, and recommending actions
• Must work and report effectively and professionally with and for others
  throughout various levels of the global organization
• Must strictly adhere to safety requirements
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance
• Must have effective oral and written communication skills
• Excellent problem solving skills and ability to work in collaborative and
  independent work situations and environments with minimal supervision
• Ability to remain calm and receptive in fast paced situations
• Foster and maintain a workplace culture respectful and supportive of
  individual differences

Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Computer Science, Informatics, or related technical discipline; or experience of such kind and amount as to provide a comparable background
• Minimum 5 years of IT experience in healthcare environment
preferred
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills

• Project Management experience is required
• Knowledge of software development life-cycle process
• Ability to solve problems and mediate discussions within cross-functional teams.

 

Physical Requirements:

• Works under general office environmental conditions.
• Sitting for extended periods, utilizes close visual acuity for working with
  computers, etc.
• Requires occasional early morning or evening teleconferences
