The Business Process Analyst is responsible for documenting and identifying gaps in business processes, through process mapping, to illustrate current and future state at Cook MyoSite Inc.


• Interact with user community to understand and document processes
• Maintain a strong and collaborative relationship with business and IT partners; serves as advocate for new system/process solutions
• Conduct business process analysis and modeling
• Present current process vs. recommended processes along with value/ROI expectations
• Identify repeatable process opportunities across support teams and document shared best practices
• Participate in gap analysis and resolution, which includes defining those processes that cannot be exactly mapped into a software and evaluating optional solutions such as software modification or process changes to resolve the differences
 • Ensure that process modeling, managing, and reporting tools are adequate and properly utilized for continuous improvement activities; propose and develop enhancements as necessary

• Identify business policy issues and inefficiencies in the structuring of business processes
• Assist users in defining and writing both documentation and reporting requirement
• Assist in identifying Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for modeled processes
• Model prototype solutions for potential automation recommendations
• Respond to user requests for information by defining requirements, performing queries, and assisting in writing more complex specifications
• Assist in implementation plan and execution of the best practices
• Help to ensure compliance with applicable regulations


• Bachelor's degree in Business or Information Technology is required
• Minimum 2 years’ related experience performing business systems analysis or equivalent
• Business Process Management Professional (BPMP) certification preferred
• Specialized knowledge with accepted process analysis and design techniques (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma, Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN), Value Chain Analysis, etc.)
• Advanced understanding of the processes and environments of business functions and databases
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products including: MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Access, MS Visio and MS Project
• Familiarity with SQL and other query/reporting tools
• Analytical ability adequate to perform business modeling techniques
• Ability to relate to various types of users to learn new business processes
• Ability to breakdown and document user tasks into understandable and repeatable processes

• Ability to provide process and automation improvements
• ERP experience
• Experience in Change Management
• Demonstrated ability to manage collaboration and influence cross-functionally for process improvement initiatives
• Experience working on cross-functional teams
• Experience working in a high growth environment with changing priorities is essential  


Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to sit at desk, in meetings and/or work on a computer
• Physically capable of standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing reaching, twisting, and bending with or without reasonable accommodations
• Must perform PPE gowning procedures to enter BioSafety Level II including safety glasses, lab coat, gloves, specialized clothing including laboratory scrubs (shirt and pants) and appropriate shoes are required on occasion

• Potential limited exposure to hazardous chemicals and/or harsh disinfectants while in BioSafety Level II
• Must be able to work extended hours beyond normal work scheduled to include, but not limited to, evenings, weekends, extended work hours and/or extra work hours, sometimes on short notice as required
• Ability to work under specific time constraints
• Mostly office setting with some exposure to Laboratory, Cleanroom, and Warehouse environments
