Cook MyoSite Incorporated, a division of Cook Incorporated, is a growing, forward-thinking biotechnology organization seeking a full-time Office Coordinator.  The Office Coordinator supervises and coordinates overall administrative activities for the Office Administration Department for both Cook MyoSite Inc. locations.


• Responsible for the day-to-day operations at facility location (such as distributing building access keys and back-up to security access cards, etc.)
• Manage the reception area to ensure effective telephone and mail communications both internally and externally to maintain professional image
• Provide administrative support to management teams at both Cook MyoSite locations
• Maintain awareness of all employees’ day-to-day activities
• Fulfill all responsibilities necessary in granting access to building (i.e. ensures visitors complete appropriate Confidentiality Agreements, etc.) at facility location
• Supervise the maintenance of office equipment, (such as including copier, scanner, etc.) Ensure proper documentation of purchases and vendor account information, equipment or services
• Work with the Purchasing Department to negotiate the purchase of office supplies, equipment, and services 

• Support staff with general “Help Desk” inquires involving office equipment and general administrative functions
• Responsible for the creation of and maintenance of the office inventory system and order office supplies
• Provide assistance and/or training in setup of with A/V equipment for meetings, presentations, and WebEx
• Learn and support new systems and applications and provide technical training to end users
• Attend meetings to records and transcribes notes and then distributes to appropriate persons 
• Process and manage document filing system; provide guidance in handling document storage equipment and supplies


• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• 4+ years-experience in an administrative or office support role including experience and skills in anticipating business needs and addressing issues before they surface
• High proficiency in MS Office, specifically:

   - Intermediate knowledge of Project, Adobe, OneNote
   - Advanced knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
   - Expert in Outlook

• High proficiency using multi-line phone and other general office equipment (printer, scanner, fax)

• Must be able to identify and resolve general malfunctions and operational problems with general office equipment

• Acute attention to detail

• Must maintain a high level of confidentiality, professionalism, business acumen and excellent customer services skills

• Maintain composure and competence under stressful situations; flexibility and adaptability 


Physical Requirements:

Regularly required to talk or hear

Must be able to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds
