Why Join Us

We're seeking a leader who brings deep, hands-on credibility in enterprise manufacturing systems along with the presence to influence decisions at the executive level. Successful candidates will bring:

  • Significant ERP experience in a supply chain and manufacturing context, with hands-on expertise in Oracle or SAP platforms.
  • Strong working knowledge of supply chain planning and manufacturing processes, including how enterprise systems support the full production lifecycle.
  • Executive-level communication skills and leadership presence, with a demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders across Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Procurement.

The Focus and Scope of this role involves:

  • Building and deploying ERP capabilities to support the Plan-to-Make workstream, with a phased rollout beginning at manufacturing entities in North America, followed by EMEA, and then Australia.
  • Integrating into and aligning with an existing, high-performing ERP team, building on established ways of working rather than standing up a new team.
  • Close, ongoing collaboration with the Director, Manufacturing Systems – MES is expected to keep ERP and MES capabilities aligned across the manufacturing systems landscape.
  • PLEASE NOTE: This position may be based in North America or EMEA, with significant travel expected, scaled to the phase of the rollout — heavier travel during active deployment phases in each region.

Overview

The Director of Manufacturing Systems will ensure enterprise applications (eg, MES, ERP) support the needs of Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, & Quality across Cook Medical. Partnering closely with IT, the successful candidate will oversee the configuration and optimization of the systems required to manufacture medical devices and will identify and advocate for the additional system capabilities and integrations needed to enable Cook's future manufacturing environment.

This specific role is focused on ERP. The selected candidate will own the ERP side of Cook's manufacturing systems landscape and will collaborate extensively with the Director, Manufacturing Systems – MES, who leads the parallel MES-focused projects, to ensure the two systems remain aligned and integrated.

Please note: This role is open to both NAM and EMEA applicants.

This role will initially be focused on North American-based manufacturing entities, followed by EMEA-based manufacturing entities, and finally on Cook Australia.  Significant travel will be required, based upon where the successful applicant is based.
