The Project Manager 2 accomplishes information technology project objectives by planning and evaluating project activities, and ensures project progresses according to the schedule and plan. Experience in the implementation of Enterprise-level IT solutions would be an advantage.

• Define project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases,
and elements; form project team
• Create and maintain IT project plans which communicate tasks,
milestone dates, status, and resource allocation
• Monitor project progress by tracking activity, identifying problems, and
recommending actions
• Prepare and publish progress reports by collecting, analyzing, and
summarizing information and trends
• Evaluate initial and additional task requests
• Interface and communicate with staff on all levels of the company
• Act as a liaison with outside vendors as needed
• Utilize software life-cycle methodology
• Coordinate delivery of development and production releases which
meet quality assurance standards
• Must work and interact effectively and professionally with and for others
throughout various levels of the global organization
• Excellent problem solving skills and ability to work in collaborative and
independent work situations and environments with minimal supervision
• Ability to remain calm and receptive in fast paced situations
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft suite of software tools

Education requirements:
• B.A. or B.S. degree; or experience of such kind and amount as to
provide a comparable background
• A minimum of 4 years in a functional leadership capacity handling multiple projects
• Proven ability to maintain multiple projects in forward movement with
frequent adjustments as necessary
• Experience with managing and directing project team members towards a defined objective
• Knowledge of software development life-cycle process
PMP/PRINCE 2 Practitioner certification preferred
Physical requirements/work enviroment:
• Works under general office environment conditions
• Sitting for extended periods, utilizes close visual acuity for working with computers, equipment, etc.
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, subject to reasonable accommodation requirements under the ADA
• Requires occasional early morning or late evening teleconferences
• International and domestic travel as required
