This role is a strategic role engaging in non-promotional activities, which serves as the bridge between Cook MyoSite and key external thought leaders, including physicians, researchers, and industry influencers. This role is responsible for supporting the advancement of our cell therapy solutions by driving insightful collaborations, facilitating research partnerships, and enhancing our scientific and clinical reputation. This role works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that Cook MyoSite’s products and innovations align with the latest scientific trends and address the needs of the broader healthcare community.

Responsibilities

• Identifies, engages in non-promotional activities, and maintains relationships with top thought leaders, professional societies, clinical experts, industry experts, and researchers in the cell therapy space and across Cook MyoSite targeted indications 

• Collaborates with internal teams to create thought-leadership content such as whitepapers, scientific publications, case studies, and presentations that reflect cutting-edge advancements in cell therapy 

• Serves as the voice of external thought leaders within the organization, ensuring their input is integrated into the development of the company’s clinical, regulatory, and product strategies 

• Works closely with internal teams to ensure successful execution of partnership initiatives 

• Contributes significantly to the overall KOL strategy to expand engagement capabilities with innovative solutions across the iltamiocel portfolio

• Serves as primary liaison between internal teams & external partners, ensures smooth, professional communication and timely resolution of issues, concerns & conflicts

• Works closely with scientific, clinical, and commercial teams to develop and execute strategies for collaborative partnerships with healthcare providers, research institutions, and biotech/pharma partners 

• Coordinates advisory boards, expert panels, and roundtable discussions to gather valuable feedback on scientific and clinical developments, as well as market needs 

• Represents Cook MyoSite at scientific conferences, symposia, and industry events to build the company’s presence and strengthen relationships with key external stakeholders

Qualifications

Advanced degree (PhD, MD, or equivalent) in life sciences, biomedical engineering, immunology, cell biology, or a related field or at least 10 years direct, relevant experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology to provide a comparable background 

Minimum of 10 years' experience working with Key Opinion Leaders and industry leaders in a medical field aligned with Cook MyoSite target partnerships

 

Experience supporting products that are distributed through a specialty pharmacy and requires extensive coordination with patient access services. 

In-depth, hands-on experience working with KOLs, clinicians, HCPs, payors, and/or academic institutions establishing/maintaining relationships and scientific/medical credibility.

 

Demonstrate success in interpreting scientific data and presenting research information to scientists and HCPs 

Strong understanding of the clinical and regulatory landscape of cell therapies, including CAR-T, gene editing, and stem cell-based treatments 

Proven success executing partnership strategies 

 

Physical Requirements:

• Full-Time Remote
• Remote / Field Based: General office or home office settingAbility to conduct and hear ordinary conversation and telephone communication.

• Must be able to work extended hours beyond normal work schedule to include, but not limited to, evenings, weekends, extended work hours and/or extra work hours, sometimes on short • notice as required.

• Ability to work under specific time constraints.

• Must be able to sit at desk, in meetings and/or work on a computer for long or extended periods of time.

• Visual and manual acuity for working with computers and equipment.

• Travel: 30-40%​

• Passport Required
