Overview

Cook Research Incorporated is currently accepting applications for a Quality Assurance (QA) Intern position. This internship is a full-time (40 hours per week) opportunity available for either Summer 2026 (May–July) OR Fall 2026 (August–December). The role operates in a hybrid capacity, with onsite availability required at least three days per week. The Quality Assurance Intern will support key initiatives within the QA team while gaining hands-on experience through meaningful, project-based work in the medical device industry.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to CRI Quality Management System (QMS) procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.

  • Provide support to QA team members as needed, responding to requests in a timely and professional manner.

  • Quickly develop an understanding of assigned projects, including terminology, objectives, and quality requirements.

  • Collaborate with a mentor and other QA team members to define tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and deliver work on time and to expected quality standards.

  • Complete required documentation accurately, clearly, and within established timelines.

Qualifications

  • Multiple disciplines will be considered (e.g., Engineering, Life Sciences, General Business, and Management).
  • Candidates should be students entering their Junior or Senior year the following semester or entering graduate school; candidates who graduate the spring semester before this internship are also eligible.
  • A strong work ethic and a conscientious, dependable approach to responsibilities.
  • A collaborative mindset, approaching requests with a “how can I help?” attitude.
  • A positive, teachable demeanor with a genuine willingness to learn and develop professionally.
  • Strong personal accountability and the ability to manage tasks independently.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • This role requires foundational literacy in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and data concepts, including the ability to explain these concepts simply, identify appropriate uses of AI in daily work, responsibly use approved AI tools for low-risk tasks, and consistently apply Cook Medical’s data privacy and responsible AI guidelines.
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized in the United States. Cook does not intend to provide sponsorship for employment visa status’ for this employment position.
