The Accounting Administrator (Operations) for CFC Properties processes and maintains company financial entries, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance. This position supports a wide range of accounting functions including bank activities, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, reconciliations, reporting, and analysis across multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve AR transactions and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures while ensuring accuracy and efficiency of operations
• Reconcile rent, prepayments, security deposits, accounts receivable, prepaid expenses and other balance sheet accounts
• Scan, deposit, and record daily checks
• Post various month-end journal entries, including allocations and accruals.
• Manage Inter-company billings and pass-through expenses.
• Track and manage department gift certificate and donation requests

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or experience of such kind and amount as to provide a comparable background
• 2+ years of experience in an accounting, administrative, or finance role
• Intermediate MS Excel skills required
• Familiarity with Navision and Rent Manager preferred
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

• Ability to identify opportunities for streamlining processes and improving efficiencies
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to reason and think quickly for effective negotiating
• Excellent communication, inter-personal, numeric & problem-solving skills

 

Physical Requirements:

• Works under general office environmental conditions
• Sitting for extended periods of time, utilizes close visual acuity for working with computers, etc.
• Occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop, kneel or crouch
