The Production Supervisor is responsible for ensuring employees in their assigned area(s) are engaged in their work, are trained to all required procedures, and are meeting performance expectations.
Shift: 9:00am-9:30pm Friday-Sunday
- Lead by exemplifying Cook's values.
- Plan and oversee daily and weekly production within assigned lines/area(s).
- Manage product flow to optimize resource use and output.
- Participate in the on-boarding process of new hires.
- Prepare and collaborate with Manager to deliver performance reviews.
- Assist Manager with area personnel matters, including disciplinary actions.
- Support and monitor employees' individual development plans (IDP).
- Manage and review time sheets, time off requests, restrictions and leave paperwork.
- Engage with cross-functional teams to resolve line/area issues.
- Assign and prioritize work as needed.
- Communicate and reinforce policies, programs and directives of senior management.
- Actively engage in continuous improvement activities.
- Adhere to the Quality Management System and its processes to meet applicable regulatory requirements.
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma.
- Post-secondary degree preferred.
- Prior experience leading teams preferred.
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Must meet the Visual Acuity Screening Requirements of 20/40 vision using both eyes with or without correction.
- Occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent repetitive motion.
- Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to grasp, carry, feel or touch; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch; communicate.
- Proper attire/clothing and personal protective equipment/clothing as required within Controlled Manufacturing Areas.
- Moderate exposure to noise level in the work environment that is moderate to occasionally loud.
