The Cafeteria Staff at Cook Spencer is responsible for food preparation, stocking, providing customer service and maintaining cleanliness of cafeteria.
• Prepare menu items such as hot foods, lunch meats and cheeses, vegetables and other items for salad bar
• Set-up salad bar and maintain during meals.
• Assist with changeover from breakfast to lunch.
• Stock items in stock room, reach-in coolers, break rooms and dining room drink stations
• Operate cash register during meals
• Serve items from hot bar during meals.
• Responds promptly to provide polite, courteous service to customers.
• Clean stock room, kitchen and dining areas as directed by supervisor.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Communicate with Supervisor and other cafeteria personnel to achieve a productive team effort
• Maintain high standard of cleanliness
• Minimum 18 years of age
5:30am - 2pm shift time, Monday - Friday
Physical Requirements:
• Moderate exposure to noise level in the work environment that is moderate to occasionally loud
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Frequent repetitive motion
• Attention to detail
• Able to stand for extended periods during the shift
• Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to grasp, carry, feel or touch; reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch; communicate
• Personal Protective Equipment as required within Food Service Areas
