The Cook Co-op program provides hands-on experience with meaningful projects in the Medical Device Manufacturing Industry.
- Perform projects that align with the company's current business objectives.
- Attend Intern events that provide professional development & overview of the business.
- Share knowledge and experiences gained through the Internship with a Capstone presentation.
- Work alongside team/mentor cross functionally to complete projects and tasks.
- Must maintain all training requirements for the position, while seeking out opportunities for continuous development and growth.
- Must work and interact effectively and professionally with and for others throughout various levels of the global organization.
- Must strictly adhere to safety requirements.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
- Must maintain company quality and quantity standards.
- Must have effective communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative and independent work situations and environments with minimal supervision.
- Ability to remain calm and receptive in fast paced situations.
- Candidates should preferably be students entering their Junior or Senior year the following fall semester or entering graduate school.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 is preferred.
- All candidates must provide proof of enrollment in an accredited college or university.
Physical Requirements:
• Works under general office environmental conditions
• Sitting for extended periods, utilizes close visual acuity for working with computers, equipment, etc.
•Occasionally lifting with minimal exertion during shift
• Personal protective equipment including safety glasses, lab coat and gloves may be required in some areas associated with this position
