The Program Architect is responsible for the IT leadership of an assigned program. This position will be responsible to partner with the Business Program Lead to ensure the program is effectively and efficiently implemented, adopted and maintained.
Ensure Cook Medical solutions, technology infrastructure, ongoing support and operations are enabled to achieve success with AI initiatives (e.g. Copilot, Azure OpenAI / CookGPT, and LOOPTECH).
• Lead the IT portion of this program and assist in leading, supporting and enabling the overall implementation team.
• This position is responsible for the IT operation and the development of the long term IT direction of this program.
• Lead the IT portion of the assigned program ensuring the IT portion of the program is optimized, aligned, and delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
• Partner with the Business Program Lead in leading the assigned program ensuring the overall program is optimized, aligned, and delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
• Ensuring the assigned program is effectively aligning with the program stakeholders.
• Lead the development of the long-term IT strategic direction for the assigned program and contribute to Cook Medical's long term strategic direction.
• Ensure the architecture of the program adheres to enterprise principles and standards across all architectural domains
• Support the assigned program's implementation teams in tracking deliverables and milestones.
• Support the assigned program teams in identifying and eliminating roadblocks and impediments.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or related field, or equivalent work experience
• Proven experience or demonstrated capability in working in and preferably leading an enterprise program
• 5+ years of experience in large, cross-functional teams influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders within complex contexts
• Demonstrated ability to manage conflict, communication & resources across multiple projects and stakeholders
• Works under general office environment conditions
• Sitting for extended periods, utilizes close visual acuity for working with computers, equipment, etc.
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, subject to reasonable accommodation requirements under the ADA
• Requires occasional early morning or late evening teleconferences
• International and domestic travel as required
