The QAC Laboratory Technician at Cook Incorporated is responsible for preparing and monitoring environmental systems and products to provide support for production, facility, engineering, and quality departments.
• Perform environmental monitoring of facilities, including viable/non-viable particulates, processed compressed airlines, temperature, pressure, and humidity
• Perform physical testing of product
• Perform media preparation, glassware, materials etc. to ensure continued lab support
• Maintain laboratory equipment
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
• Perform data entry/review of generated results
• Maintain accurate and compliant data and record management
• Develop and maintain laboratory procedures
• Must maintain all training requirements for the position, while seeking out opportunities for continuous development and growth
• Adhere to the Quality Management System and its processes to meet FDA 21 CFR 820, ISO 13485, and other applicable regulatory requirements
• High school diploma or GED
• Technical education a plus
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, Word, and Outlook)
Physical Requirements:
• Works under general office environment conditions
• Utilizes close visual acuity for working with computers and equipment
• Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, and communicate
• Personal protective equipment including safety glasses, lab coat and gloves may be required in some areas associated with this position
