Overview

The IT Operations Specialist at Cook Medical develops, implements, monitors and improves IT Processes. This position will assure process are managed and are meeting operational objectives.

 

 

This role is a hybrid position. Candidate must reside within 2 hours via car of the Cook Medical location and is required to work onsite as needed per Manager expectations.

 

For this position, qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Cook does not intend to provide sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this employment position.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an understanding of IT Processes and process requirements
• Develop, monitor and improve IT processes
• Facilitate interactions with supporting functional areas on IT processes
• Identify and cultivate IT partner collaborations
• Assist IT Technical Personnel in processing and developing improvements and changes to IT processes
• Establish and track process milestones and deliverables
• Work with IT management to support and identify issues that require immediate action
• Research and evaluate priority level for projects and key stakeholders
• Manage the daily process operations
• Identify opportunities for efficiencies
• Develop training and maintain competency programs for personnel working within the process

• Pro-actively identify and manage changes in process scope, potential
crises, and devise contingency plans
• Must work and interact effectively and professionally with and for others
throughout various levels of the global organization
• Must strictly adhere to safety requirements
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance
• Must maintain company quality and quantity standards
• Must have effective oral, written and presentation communication skills
• Ability to work in collaborative and independent work situations and environments with minimal supervision
• Ability to remain calm and receptive in fast paced situations
• Must have excellent analytical and problem solving skills

Qualifications

Work Experience and Education 

• BA/BS in business related field or experience of such kind and amount
to provide a comparable background
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications

 

Physical Enviroment

• Works under general office environment conditions
• Sitting for extended periods, utilizes close visual acuity for working with computers, equipment, etc.
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, subject to reasonable accommodation requirements under the ADA

 

Requires occasional early morning or late evening teleconferences
• International and domestic travel as required
