The Human Resources Generalist adds value to the company by following local and national recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas. The Human Resources Generalist will also support HR programs that are essential for the site.



- Partner with hiring managers and functional leadership to achieve the overall staffing goals and employee development goals
- Train hiring managers in interviewing and employee selection skills.
- Develop and execute recruiting plans based on needs of the management team.
- Use company on-line recruiting system and other appropriate technology/venues for listing positions and sourcing candidates.
- Use effective screening procedures to identify top candidates.
- Provide thorough, regular status updates to those involved in search and hiring.
- Collect and analyze employment data for recommendations to the management team.
- Assist in implementation and administration of HR policies and procedures.
- Act as a resource for employee questions regarding benefits, et al.
- Process reports and maintain records as needed.
- Assist with and manage part of the on-boarding process.
- Consult with and support managers during entire employee life cycle, including employee performance issues, corrective action processes, and employee development plans and actions.
- Orchestrate termination processes, including delivering termination checklists and conducting exit interviews.

- Must maintain company quality and quantity standards.
- Must have effective communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative and independent work situations and environments with minimal supervision.
- Ability to remain calm and receptive in fast paced situations.


- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, or experience of such kind and amount as to provide a comparable background
- Minimum 2 years experience in HR or related area
- Experience in Customer Service, Project Planning/Management and Employee Orientation
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within the HR field

- Works under general office environmental conditions
- Sitting for extended periods, utilizes close visual acuity for working with computers, etc.
- The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop, kneel or crouch

- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, subject to reasonable accommodation requirements under the ADA.
