The Dining Room Attendant and Breakfast Cook at the Grant Street Inn is responsible for serving the breakfast buffet, preparing breakfast 2 days a week, and various kitchen duties.
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
Shifts: 4:30am-12:30pm weekdays & 5:30am-1:30pm weekends
Dining Room Attendant 3 Days
• Greet guests
• Complete daily set up procedures for dining room
• Complete daily cleaning of dining room areas
• Maintain adequate supplies of items
• Bus tables
• Dish washing
• Assist in kitchen as needed
Breakfast Cook 2 Days
• Plan and prepare daily breakfast menu
• Monitor set-up and food service
• Cleaning and upkeep of kitchen
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Prior kitchen experience required
• Cooking for groups of 20 or more preferred
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be comfortable and effective in a fast paced environment
• Must work and interact effectively and professionally with and for others
• Must strictly adhere to safety requirements
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance
• Must maintain company quality standards
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
Physical Requirements:
• Able to stand, walk for long periods of time
• Ability to climb up and down stairs repeatedly, as well as bending, stooping, crouching, kneeling
• Able reach and frequently lift up to 40 pounds
