The Procurement Manager is responsible for the day to day procurement operations of an assigned entity (site) which includes all Procurement and Supplier Management responsibilities in alignment with the Global Category Management team. This position will have responsibility for both direct and indirect responsibilities for the assigned entity(site).
• Ensure that procurement activities are executed in line with category guidance, and in compliance with relevant global policies, standards, guidelines, and operating procedures.
• Collaborate with approved suppliers globally and locally
• Actively participate within a Cross Functional team to understand business requirements and execute based on procurement process
• Collaborate with the Category Management teams and escalate entity supply issues as required
• Must be able to translate business requirements into procurement requirements keeping stakeholders top of mind
• Partner with legal to support contracting activities; review master agreements, statements of work, change orders, or similar documents as directed by the category team or site leadership • Must identify and deliver on overall savings objectives and other annual objectives as defined
• Responsible for communicating entity level procurement requirements to the Category Management team
• Ensure that supply is protected to support manufacturing operations
• Lead discussions in supply related matters to drive corrective action while working with cross functional counterparts
• Assess supplier change requests and prioritize these requests via close collaboration with supplier quality engineering and supplier engineering to drive closure on a timely basis
• Will lead a local (site) procurement team in a global structure
• Must work and interact effectively and professionally with and for others throughout various levels of the global organization
• BA/BS degree required; MBA or the equivalent preferred
• 5+ years in procurement or supply chain
• Must have 3+ years of management experience
• Must be knowledgeable of procurement systems, tools, policies and procedures
• Both Direct and Indirect Procurement experience preferred
• Demonstrated experience in negotiations, driving cost reduction strategies and day to day procurement operations
• CPSM or CPM preferred
• Knowledge in demand planning and inventory management
• Excellent communication skills

• Must be willing to manage within an organization undergoing change
• Must be able to work in a global structure while supporting the assigned entity
• Willing to travel 30% of the time
