This position is responsible for providing administrative support to MED Institute personnel and projects and providing customer service internally and externally.
Responsibilities
Provide clerical and administrative support as needed, which may include but is not limited to correspondence, word processing, filing, development of various documents and presentations, maintaining lists and records, database entry, and general organization
Serve as receptionist for MED Institute and Cook Advanced Technologies, directing callers and greeting guests
Coordinate ordering of supplies, organization of storage rooms, organization of paper mills and break-rooms, and stocking as required to support the company
Coordinate facility needs with Facilities Administrator and Property Management Group personnel as needed
Handle shipments and accept deliveries
Assist with the coordination of various events, such as employee recognition opportunities and other special events
Assist with new employee set up and employee exit activities
Assist with travel arrangements
Coordinate meal arrangements
Qualifications
High school diploma required, B.S. degree helpful;
Conscientious, detail-oriented person with good work ethic;
Appropriate service mentality and genuine willingness to learn;
Understand and accept requests with a positive “I can help you” attitude;
Excellent people/relational, written, and verbal communication skills;
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple, changing priorities along with fluctuations in workload;
Ability to present a professional and personable demeanor in interactions;
Ability to communicate and work constructively with colleagues; and
Strong computer skills, including word processing and databases, and experience in basic office equipment.
