Overview

Establishes short to mid-term tactical and operational plans to support and execute the strategy for development, implementation, and improvement of Business Operations systems, processes, and other initiatives as assigned, to support and achieve both divisions’ mission, vision and purpose, and overall company mission and vision. Manage an assigned business operations team, and ensure activities are aligned with the Divisions, Functions, and Operational Units. Develop new Business Operations processes and communications and ensure they are efficient, effective, and compliant in meeting the needs of our customers and internal stakeholders. Experience/skills in change management. 

Responsibilities

Work closely with and influence others within the Divisions, Functions and Operational Units to implement the divisions strategy, processes, initiatives, and operational efficiencies.

 

Act as liaison between the Divisions, Functions and Operational Units.

 

Collaborate with both Division’s sales and business leadership, marketing, product management, and account executive teams in leading and executing initiatives.

 

Identify and manage all other relevant collaboration partners within the Divisions, Functions and Operational Units.

 

Ensure consistency in communication, processes, priorities, policies, and compliance.

 

Maintain, execute and follow-up on operational activities in alignment with the Divisions’ global and regional goals.

 

Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and feedback, both formally through the performance management process and informally through daily discussions and interactions, while recognizing employees for their contributions.

 

Ensure that roles and responsibilities, performance expectations, and training requirements are developed and clearly documented and communicated to each employee. Cultivate a safe, secure, and supportive environment where employees can thrive and morale is maintained.

 

Responsible for performance and wage reviews for team members.

 

Meet deadlines and ensure employees complete administrative tasks such as expenses, training, reporting, policy acknowledgements, submission of performance reviews, etc. in a timely manner.

 

Maintain our culture, values and commitment to Ethics and Compliance by recognizing, demonstrating, and enforcing appropriate and compliant behavior.

 

Within scope of responsibility, ensure all quality, regulatory, and product-specific requirements are met.

 

Understand and be accountable for conducting Cook business with integrity and in compliance with applicable standards including Cook policies.

Qualifications

Required Experience:

  • College degree in related field or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience, which may include sales, marketing, product management, pricing, or corporate accounts.
  • Prior Experience managing people.
  • Prior experience working cross-functionally to achieve business objectives and drive efficiencies.

  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills.
  • Prior experience leading organizational change.
  • Model the company standards that others are expected to follow.
  • Demonstrate positive and constructive behaviors that drive team cooperation in achieving market objectives.

 

Physical Requirements/Work Environment:

  • Travel may be required 25% of the time or less.
  • Work under general office environmental conditions.
